Matt joined the Swimmer Insurance Agency in 2010 as a Commercial Account Executive and was promoted to a Partner during the merger of Main Street Insurance Group and Swimmer Insurance Agency in January 2019. Matt is active in the insurance community – he was Past-President of the Independent Insurance Agents of Charlotte-Mecklenburg, current Steering Committee Member for Community Matters – Insurance Partners of Charlotte, a current member of the Insurance Advisory Committee to the NC Department of Insurance, and an active affiliate member of the NC Craft Brewers Guild and Charlotte Independent Brewers Alliance (CIBA). Matt is a graduate of North Carolina State University and followed family footsteps into the insurance business. Aside from being an avid Panthers fan, golfer, and craft beer enthusiast – Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
