Craig Katzman is a Senior Vice President and Partner of Main Street Insurance Group. Craig holds the Certified Insurance Counselor designation and has 41 years of experience in the insurance industry. Craig began his career in insurance at Crum and Forster Insurance Group as an underwriter. After a number of supervisory and management roles with the company, he finished his tenure at Crum and Forster as the national program manager for the Anheuser- Busch Wholesalers Account. In the three years he held that role, Craig started the program and with his team wrote 200 wholesalers that generated $27,500,000 in premium. In 1989, he joined Swimmer Insurance Agency as a Vice President and later became a Partner in the agency. Craig is a recipient of the Charlotte Association of Insurance Professionals’ “Associate of the Year” award in 2000. He graduated from East Carolina University with a BSBA in Management and attended Queens College MBA program. Craig has served on the board and executive board of the Leon and Sandra Levine Jewish Community Center, Temple Beth El Board of Directors and was the Committee Chairman of Troop 99 of the Boy Scouts of America. Craig was also active in coaching baseball and basketball in Weddington, NC. Craig has been married to his wife Cindy for 41 years and has two children Melissa and Michael; and four grandchildren Olivia, Bennett, Samuel and William.
